D-Link sets up high-class wireless LAN at Raj Bhavan, Bangalore

D-Link ()
has set up a wireless LAN system incorporating state-of-the-art
technology at Raj Bhavan, Bangalore. The Raj Bhavan,
thus, acquires a unique distinction of having a wireless
LAN set up that is based on the concept of ''anywhere,
anytime connectivity''.
The entire set-up (comprising wireless and passive components) has been designed and implemented by D-Link India. The entire Raj Bhavan is wirelessly enabled with access points installed throughout the Bhavan to provide total mobility.
The wireless LAN set up was inaugurated by Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi on 7 November 2003 at 1630 hours.
Says D-Link India chairman and managing director K R Naik: "We are very proud that such an important building like the Raj Bhavan of Karnataka has been wirelessly networked by D-Link."
