Blue Star to sell Hitachi Life Science Products

Mumbai: The electronics division of Blue Star has been appointed as the exclusive dealer for distributing Hitachi's Life Science Products, including atomic absorption spectrophotometers, centrifuges, UV/VIS spectrophotometers, high performance liquid chromatographs and amino acid analyzers in the country by Techcomp Holdings, Hong Kong.

Techcomp and its subsidiary companies are principally engaged in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of analytical instruments, life science equipment and laboratory instruments.

The group designs and manufactures various instruments, including gas and ion chromatographs, UV-Vis spectrophotometers and centrifuges for its house brand "Techcomp." It also manufactures for Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation on an original design manufacture ("ODM") basis.

The group's manufacturing and distribution products address the academic, industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and other research and laboratory markets, as well as the clinical laboratory and healthcare industries, agricultural and environmental industries, and government agencies in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Australia.

Under this exclusive distributorship agreement, Blue Star will also market some Techcomp products apart from the Hitachi range of life science products.

Blue Star is India's largest central air conditioning and commercial refrigeration company. Its electronics division provides turnkey engineered solutions built around high value and high technology.
