Temasek invests in French asset manager Tikehau Capital Partners

French asset manager Tikehau Capital Partners today said that Singapore's sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings Pte has invested in the company.

Other investors, including Temasek have invested a total of €510 million ($567 million) in Tikehau Capital Partners and its holding company as part of two capital increases.

Temasek now holds an over 5-per cent stake in the holding company, Tikehau Capital Advisors.

Other investors include French investment company FFP, part of French auto giant Peugeot, while existing investors include Amundi SA and Credit Mutuel Arkea SA.

Antoine Flamarion and Mathieu Chabran, co-founders of Tikehau Capital said, ''These two capital increases mark a major milestone in the development of Tikehau Capital, as they provide us with additional capacity to grow regardless of the current market turbulence and to compete with leading players in the asset management field.''

''We are very pleased to welcome Temasek and FFP into our group which will help us build a leading global investment management brand,'' they added.

Paris-based Tikehau Capital manages over €8 billion for institutional and private investors in various asset classes, through its asset management subsidiary, Tikehau IM, its listed minority equity investment company, Salvepar, and its long term investment company, Tikehau Capital Partners.

Majority-held by its managers alongside first-tier institutional partners, Tikehau Capital has more than 160 employees in offices in Paris, Brussels, London, Milan and Singapore.
