GTB wins tech usage award

Hyderabad: Global Trust Bank (GTB) has been presented the best in 'microbanking' award by Microbanker Inc.

The award is given annually to financial institutions that exhibit outstanding use of technologies to improve services.

GTB has won the award for developing a solution called the integrated delivery channels application system (IDEAS), which provides operational facility to delivery channels, including branches, ATMs, phone and Internet banking, kiosks and mobile devices.

Only 11 non-US companies have won the award since its inception in 1988, according to a bank press release.
