Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor wins ‘Entrepreneurial banker of the decade’ award

Rana Kapoor, founder, managing director and CEO, Yes Bank on Friday received the 'Entrepreneurial Banker of the Decade' award from the Bombay Management Association (BMA).

K N Vaidyanathan, executive director, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) presented the award to Kapoor at BMA's 14th annual convention in Mumbai. 

Kapoor won for his contribution to the Indian banking sector during the past decade through Yes Bank, a private sector bank that focuses on sunrise sectors and sustainability.

A member of the board of governors of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), Kapoor was recently appointed the chairman of the FICCI Maharashtra state council. He is also a member of Government of India's board of trade.
