Barista Lavazza ties-up with Mattel Toys to launch Barista Lavazza Café Scrabble 2010

Barista Lavazza today announced its association with Mattel Toys (India) Private Limited, which markets the popular word game Scrabble in India, for the launch of the first edition of Barista Lavazza Café Scrabble 2010.
The tournament, to be played over four weeks, aims to popularise the game and is open to all guests including students and professionals.
Sanjay Coutinho, chief operating officer, Barista Coffee Company Ltd, said, ''Barista Lavazza is delighted to provide a platform for all the scrabble enthusiasts. The association with Mattel is a collective endeavor to create more interactive and entertaining environment for our guests and enhance their experience.''
The entry forms are designed as Scrabble puzzles, which can be cracked while having a cup of coffee. Those interested can register on the official facebook page facebook.com/Barista Lavazza or fill in the entry forms which at Barista Lavazza outlets.
The tournament will begin in Delhi and then move on to seven other cities namely Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune and Mumbai.

Prizes will be given courtesy Tourism Malaysia, Mattel and there are assured gifts to be won for each entry. The eventual winner will receive a free trip to Malaysia along with a tournament trophy.
Barista Lavazza was established in 2000 by Barista Coffee Company Limited to recreate the ambience and experience of typical Italian neighborhood Espresso Bars in India.
