Indian Bank generates business worth Rs120 crore at global property and home loan fair

Indian Bank sanctioned loan worth Rs120 crore to over 626 visitors in three days at the recently concluded Global property and Home Loan Fair at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

The housing segment of the bank contributes over Rs250 crore towards its total business volume. Of the total business generated by Indian Bank at the fair, Rs.63.72 crore resulted from home loans. All branches of the bank in Northern India were roped in to ensure prompt and world-class service to the homebuyers. Educational loans, ''IN mortgage'', ''my own shop'', ''car loans'' and ''trade finance'' were the other loan options availed by customers. All participants at the property fair were pre-approved for loans from Indian Bank.

According to the organiser, DK Jain, "The global fair was a major success and was an innovative means to reach out to customers. It was directed towards encouraging greater transparency and healthy competition among with free flow of information on all aspects from the purchase to the sale of property."

Top builders from the country including participated at the global fair. The properties on display included independent houses, bungalows, independent floors, builder flats, apartments, shopping malls, cine-multiplexes, showrooms and office spaces.
