Elon Musk’s AI startup, xAI, is to be integrated with social media platform X

Artificial intelligence startup xAI, which was founded by Elon Musk, is going to be merged into the famous social media platform X. Other than this, it will also be available as a standalone app.

The eccentric billionaire has stated that his AI startup venture has released its first AI model, Grok. It is available to all X Premium+. This bot was launched on Friday, 3 November, 2023.

The goal of this AI startup is to create essential AI tools to assist humanity in its journey towards achieving knowledge. Grok has been specifically designed to answer questions with fun wit.

Musk has raised many questions in the past about the biased nature of AI tools provided by other Big Tech companies.

He claims that his AI tool is the first step towards creating an ultimate truth-seeking AI. This AI will try to understand the nature of the universe and will rival Bard AI provided by Google, Bing AI provided by Microsoft, and ChatGPT created by OpenAI.

Elon Musk has claimed that Grok would have real-time access to current affairs with the help of the X platform, and this will give Grok an edge over other AI models.

Twitter was bought by Elon Musk in April 2022 and renamed X. The AI startup known as xAI is a separate entity from X but will work closely with it. The startup has also been working closely with Tesla, Elon’s car manufacturing company, and some other companies.

In a meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak last week, Elon Musk conveyed his belief that AI represents "the most revolutionary force in history." Musk's predictions, made during the inaugural global AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park, England, suggested that AI technology has the potential to eventually perform all tasks, potentially reshaping the nature of employment as we currently understand it.

It's worth noting that in 2015, Elon Musk co-founded OpenAI, the organization responsible for developing ChatGPT and other generative AI technologies that have garnered worldwide attention. However, in 218, Musk resigned from the company’s board.
