UltraTech buys India Cement’s grinding unit, ups production capacity by 3 million tonnes

Aditya Birla group company UltraTech Cement is acquiring a 1.1 million tonne grinding unit from India Cements for Rs315 crore. The acquisition of the grinding unit will add 3 million tonnes cement manufacturing capacity to UltraTech in Maharashtra - including 1.2 million tonnes at Parli and 1.8 million tonnes at Dhule.
