Kaushal Sampat takes over as COO, Dun & Bradstreet India

Chennai: Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), the world's leading provider of global business information, knowledge and insight has appointed Kaushal Sampat as the chief operating officer (COO) of Dun & Bradstreet India with effect from January 1, 2007.
Kaushal, who was earlier director, business development, will now be responsible for the growth and development of D&B India's Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and will spearhead strategic initiatives for the company as its COO.
In a career spanning over 15 years Sampat has held a host of strategic responsibilities. He joined Dun & Bradstreet in 1998 and has played a key role in developing new businesses and alliances for the company in India.
Prior to his tenure at Dun & Bradstreet, Sampatl worked in the manufacturing sector for four years with a focus on international business. He graduated from the Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai, and has an MBA from Bowling Green State University, in the US.
