Thiruvananthapuram: The head of the Voter ID Cards division of the Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (Keltron), M. Narayanan, has taken over as the company's managing director.

A graduate in electronics from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Narayanan also holds an MBA from the University of Kerala.

Earlier, he served the power electronics, cybernetics, controls and marketing divisions of Keltron.
