H.W. Bhatnagar is next CMD of BHEL
New Delhi: MR Harsh Wardhan Bhatnagar, Director (IS&P), Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, has been named to take charge as Chairman and Managing Director of the public sector engineering and power major, in addition to his current responsibilities.

Six new Dy. MDs for State Bank
The State Bank of India, yesterday, appointed six new deputy managing directors. Of these, M.M.Lateef was MD, SBI Gilts, while the others were chief general managers (CGM).They are are: Krishnamurthy — CGM, Madras LHO, R.Ramanathan 1 CGM, technology, T.S. Bhattacharya — CGM, product development and marketing, Yogesh Agarwal — CGM, Chandigarh and Vijay Anand — CGM, corporate account group.

V K Singh is CMD for Northern Coalfields
THE Union Ministry of coal has appointed Mr V.K. Singh, Director (Technical) of Central Coalfields Ltd as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Northern Coalfields Ltd with immediate effect.
