AUSPI names C.S. Rao president of the association

The Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India (AUSPI) has appointed C S Rao, President,  Reliance Communications, as the president of the association.

Rao takes over from Madhav Joshi, president (legal and regulatory), Tata Teleservices. The appointment was announced after its annual general meeting held on October 17.

Tata Teleservices Senior Vice President (Corporate Regulatory Affairs) Anand Dalal was elected as its vice president.

For AUSPI, the previous year was most challenging due to many regulatory environments and ultra competitive telecom scenario. Its members are working towards achieving the goal of improved access, coverage and tele-density in India, it said in a statement.
