Bharti Airtel appoints Anant Arora as CEO – Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Bharti Airtel today said uit had appointed Anant Arora as CEO of the its s B2C operations in the Gujarat circle, reporting to operations director (west) Raghunath Mandava.
The appointment is in line with Bharti's new organisation structure that it recently announced for its India and South Asia operations.
Effective 1 August 2011, Bharti Airtel's new structure is aimed at driving greater business and functional synergies, providing a common interface to customers, and creating a de-layered and more agile organisation.
In addition, the new structure will provide more meaningful, empowered roles and enhance employee engagement.
Bharti Airtel's transformed organisation structure has two distinct customer business units (CBU) with clear focus on B2C (business to customer) and B2B (business to business) segments.
