EMC India appoints Debashis Patnaik as HR head

EMC India today announced the appointment of Debashis Patnaik as the HR head for its Center of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore.
Patnaik takes over from R.Vidyasagar and will be responsible for overseeing talent acquisition, employee engagement and organisational development of the India COE.
Prior to joining EMC India, he was with Cisco Systems, where he worked as director – HR, in an HR business partner role for the services sales group within emerging markets and Asia Pacific.
While at Cisco, Patnaik helped set up a global enterprise technical support centre at Bangalore and implementing a new organisation for emerging market technical support services.
Patnaik has 21 years of experience and has worked with Microsoft, Ernst & Young Consulting India, Cadence Design Systems and Hughes Software Systems in his prior assignments.
