Joseph George succeeds Charles Cadell as CEO, Lowe Lintas India

Lowe Lintas India has announced the appointment of Joseph George as the chief executive officer. He was earlier the deputy chief executive officer at the agency.

George will be based in Mumbai and take charge of operations effective from January 3, 2011.  He succeeds Charles Cadell, who is currently serving his notice period that ends in December.

George has been an integral part of Lowe Lintas for the past 19 years, said Michael Wall, CEO, Lowe + Partners.

''This promotion is demonstrative of the organisation's appreciation of his past performance and trust in his abilities to take Lowe Lintas forward with his vision and leadership, added R Balki, chief creative officer and chairman, Lowe Lintas India.

Cadell's next move has not been disclosed. He had joined Lowe Lintas India in 2007 and has worked for agencies like Leo Burnett Malaysia and Arc Worldwide among others.
