Manhattan Communications ropes in Rakesh Misra as COO, BTL

Rakesh Misra has been appointed as the chief operating officer for the below the line business of Manhattan Communications.

Misra joins from Tequila, the direct marketing arm of TBWA, where he was the general manager and business head of the arm.

He will be based in Delhi and report to Shantonu Aditya, co-promoter and director, Manhattan Communications, who was handling the BTL business of the arm till now.

Misra started his career as the sales manager of Bharti Airtel, moving on to MetLife, followed by a three-year stint with Solutions Digitas. He then moved to Tequila.

He has been associated with brands like Pepsi, Aircel, Nokia, Cadbury, Dabur, Samsung among others.

Manhattan Communications is a 360-degree marketing solutions company operating from offices in US, Canada, UK and India. In India, the agency operates in two business verticals, below the line and digital.
