He will take over from Timothy Tucker who was appointed president and CEO of Ford Japan and will be reporting to Nigel Wark, executive director, marketing, sales and service, Ford India.

Raja will be responsible for delivering the sales and revenue targets for Ford products in the dynamic Indian automotive market.

Prior to this appointment, Raja served as general manager of sales and was responsible for national sales and field operations across India.

He also played a key role in sales planning for the Ford line-up, and contributed significantly to the recent and successful launch of Ford Figo by developing and authorising Ford dealership sales teams across India.

''Raja's leadership, rich experience and knowledge of the Indian car market are great assets to Ford India and will help us continue to build our competitive position in the market,'' said Wark.
