Former SEBI and LIC chairman, G N Bajpai, joins US advisory group's board

Accelerator Group LLC today said that G N Bajpai has joined its advisory board and will actively guide the strategic alliance advisory and healthcare practice areas of Accelerator.
Accelerator Group LLC. is an investment banking advisory services firm focused on providing high quality services in areas of business combinations, mergers and acquisitions and raising growth capital.
Accelerator Group also provides customized knowledge services in areas of business intelligence and market research. The firm specializes in the healthcare & pharmaceutical, manufacturing (automotive & aerospace) and food & agriculture industries.
Bajpai is an eminent leader and champion of the Indian financial service and insurance industries and has guided several major institutions in India under his leadership.
Earlier, he was chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of India from 2002 to 2005.
Prior to that, under his chairmanship of Life Insurance Corporation of India from September 2000 to February 2002, LIC grew at a record rate of 65 per cent and 135 petr cent in 2000-01, 2001-02. He has served on the Boards of many prestigious organizations of India and abroad.
