Rediffusion - Y&R has named Saumya Chattopadhyay as planning head - Mumbai, reporting to Arvind Mohan, group chief strategy officer and Nisha Singhania, executive vice president.

Chattopadhyay comes in from Milk +Co. DDB International Kuala Lumpur where he was head of planning.

He began his career with Concept Communications, Mumbai and subsequently worked with agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi - London, DDB - Kuala Lumpur, O&M - Mumbai, JWT - Delhi, Euro RSCG and Vyas Giannetti  in Mumbai.

He has worked on brands like Pepsi, Bharti Walmart, Volkswagen, Izuzu, Unilever, BBC World, Aditya Birla Group, Reckitt Benckiser and Sony Entertainment Television.
