Rohit Misra is president, Rediffusion Y&R

Rediffusion – Y&R has appointed Rohit Misra as president. His responsibilities will include leading the creative agency nationally in India as well as its Sri Lankan operations. He will be based out of Mumbai.
Misra is currently CEO for the Sri Lanka operations of Rediffusion Y&R.
As CEO of Rediffusion Y&R, Sri Lanka, Misra had successfully revamped and recharged the agency there. He also led it to partner the hugely acclaimed launch of Airtel in the Sri Lankan market.
Misra has worked with Euro RSCG Worldwide as regional vice president – Middle East. Prior to the Middle East, Misra was a founding member, shareholder and member of the management committee of Euro RSCG when the group started up in India in 1996. He had set up and managed the Delhi office of the company.
Misra began his career in India in 1989 with Ogilvy & Mather Direct working on direct marketing strategy and implementation for clients like American Express, Xerox, British Airways and ITC Hotels.
