Tendulkar becomes brand ambassador for The Royal Bank of Scotland Group

Sachin Tendulkar has become the brand ambassador for The Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS) and will represent the bank in its key Asia Pacific markets such as India and the Middle East.

Some of the other RBS ambassadors are golfing legend Jack Nicklaus and Formula One champion Sir Jackie Stewart.

In his role as an RBS ambassador, Tendulkar will help raise awareness of the RBS brand through a series of corporate advertising campaigns across the Asia Pacific region.

According to the group, Tendulkar is a good choice as he represents everything in sport - focus, determination and achievement.

In the meanwhile, RBS has also announced a series of associate sponsorships for the upcoming Australia test series and the seven England One Day Internationals.
