Ameer Ismail promoted to executive director, LINOpinion

Ameer Ismail has been promoted to executive director, LINOpinion and his new role will include working closely with the Lowe Worldwide management team to build its reputation in Asia.

Ismail will report directly to Steve Gatfield, CEO, Lowe Worldwide and EVP Interpublic Group, with respect to future strategic developments both in India and in partnership with other IPG companies outside India.

Earlier he was president, LINOpinion, and continues to be in charge of LINOpinion.

In 2003, Ismail was responsible for acquiring the licensing and merchandising rights for the Cricket World Cup for India and the sub-continent.

In 2004, he was appointed as a member of the executive council, Lintas IMAG, the marketing services business segment of the Lintas India.

Ismail has been with LINOpinion since 1996 and their clients include brands such as Carrier, CII, JP Morgan, MTV Networks, Standard Chartered Bank, Spice Group, Srilankan Airlines and World Gold Council (WGC).
