Ashish Medhekar has been appointed as executive vice-president and head of Mumbai operations for Everest Brand Solutions. Prior to this Medhekar has worked with Contract, Rediffusion and Dentsu.

At Everest, Medhekar would contribute to creating innovative breaking advertising campaigns in a competitive market for its existing clients and new acquisitions.

During his 17 years, Medhekar has worked on diverse brands such as Airtel, Citibank, Colgate, HCC, HDFC Bank Credit Cards, Lavassa, Nivea Skincare, Philips, Thomas Cook's 100% Holidays, Sony Entertainment Television, Southern Comfort and Suzlon.

The Everest Mumbai office handles brand building for ACC, Apurva Buildcare, Indian Overseas Bank, Nirmal Lifestyle and Writer Corporation, besides growing the business with existing clients like Parle (with Xhale and 20:20 brands) and Zandu (Nityam brand).
