O&M appoints Rahul Saigal as vice-president, retail

O&M India has appointed Rahul Saigal as vice-president, retail. Retail Practice is a new venture by OgilvyAction.
An MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Saigal also has a diploma in print journalism. He began his career with Bennett Coleman, then moved to TBWA, Schoolnet (a web portal business), then joined Ogilvy Manila, J&J and more recently Havas. Rahul has worked on brands such as Unilever, Nokia, Kodak, Nike, American Express, the Swire Group and UTV.
Retail practice will concentrate exclusively on the retail sector, and aims at key aspects like consumer psyche and analysing consumer buying behaviour and movement. It also includes visual merchandising, point of purchase.OgilvyAction plans to understand and interpret the consumer better with retail practice.
