Standard Chartered Bank appoints Edwin Nevis to head Scope International; Sreeram Iyer to move to Amex

Chennai: Standard Chartered Bank has appointed Edwin Nevis as the new head of the Chennai-based captive BPO for the Standard Chartered group, Scope International Pvt Ltd.

Nevis is currently heading Standard Chartered''s shared service centre in Kuala Lumur and is also the chief information officer for the bank in Malaysia. He has been with Standard Chartered group for over 30 years.

Nevis was involved in setting up the processing hubs in Chennai and Kuala Lumpur and was a key member of the original project team.

On the other hand Scope International''s present CEO Sreeram Iyer is being moved into a new global role in the American Express integration as programme director, consumer banking.

Both these appointments are subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
