Rothin Bhattacharyya named as CEO of HCL Security

HCL Security, a subsidiary of HCL Infosystems, has announced the appointment of Rothin Bhattacharyya as its new chief executive officer.
Bhattacharyya, with over 24 years of experience, has worked extensively with the government, regulators and with cross-border teams in matrix organisations. He has also been member of the National Steering Committee on Information Technology constituted by the government of India to advise on the development of IT in India.
He has worked with organisations such as Siemens and KPMG in his prior assignments and also has extensive business planning, facilitation, analysis, interpersonal skills with proven record of organisation building capabilities.
HCL Security is part of the $5-billion HCL group. It is a 100-per cent subsidiary of HCL Infosystems. The company focuses on the key verticals of homeland security (city, border and coastal security), critical infrastructure (airports, ports, and oil pipelines), and enterprise security.
