Revenues for the information technology sector are expected to grow at 13 per cent this fiscal year, industry body Nasscom has said, adding that it expects the sector to grow to $146 billion this year.

The revenue growth rate target stands at 13.1 per cent in constant currency terms and 13.9 per cent in rupee terms, the industry body said.

The growth reflects the variable impact of currency, it said, adding that out of total revenues, exports would account for $100 billion.

Private investments in the IT sector grew by 53 per cent year-on-year, according to Nasscom, which said it expects the government to invest a lot more in technology.

Nasscom had earlier forecast the industry to grow 13-15 percent this fiscal. For FY16, IT services are expected to grow in the 12-14 per cent range, it added. The domestic market in the next fiscal is slated to grow at 15-17 per cent.
