Pushpinder Singh quits Ambience Publicis
Mumbai: Ambience Publicis' national creative director (NCD) Pushpinder Singh has quit the agency.

He will however, continue as NCD till the end of this year and will execute the creative assignments currently at hand.

Singh says he wants to pursue opportunities outside advertising.

Ambience Publicis COO Rajiv Sabnis said the agency will undergo a restructring process once Singh leaves, hinting at doing away with the position of national creative director.

Suman Chattopadhyay resigns from Star-Ananda JV
Mumbai: Media Content & Communications Services (MCCS), a joint venture between Star TV India and Aanda Bazar Patrika (ABP), has said that executive producer Suman Chattopadhyay, Star Ananda, has resigned.

Chattopadhyay had come on the ABP group for a temporary assignment.

Anand Rao, Infosys Australia ED quits
Bangalore: Anand Rao, Infosys' executive director and general manager (sales and marketing) and second in command of Australian operations has resigned.

Infosys has confirmed Rao's exit.

Recently Basab Pradhan and Hema Ravichander quit as head of global sales and HR at Infosys respectively.

Ananda Rao was a member of the board of Infosys Australia, a 100-per cent subsidiary of Infosys. He handled two portfolios within Infosys Australia: as general manager, sales and marketing, and also head of the Telstra Relationship, reporting directly to the Board of Infosys in India.

Anand Rao was also a member of the executive leadership team of Infosys Technologies in Asia Pacific.

Varma appointed head of programming at Radio City
Mumbai: Radio City has appointed Vikas Varma former UTV COO, as its national programming head.

Varma will fill up the position vacated by the departure of Amrish Sethi in August.

Vikas has more than 17 years of experience in creative and programming.

Radio City has set numerous benchmarks for the industry through its programming innovations like Lingo-Lila, Babbar Sher, Love Guru, Musical-e-Azam (where it currently has 21 of the best Bollywood singers performing live and unplugged).

Varma will look after all national programming initiatives of Radio City besides working on the programme mix for Radio City's upcoming stations.

Varma was with UTV for a year-and-a-Shalf, overlooking the television division in the area of business strategy and operations along with business development.
