Kharif loan interest waiver for drought-hit farmers
New Delhi: Interest on loans taken by farmers for the 2002 kharif season has been waived for drought affected areas in 14 states for a period of one year, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee announced in Parliament on Wednesday.
