Mumbai: Alok Shanker is the new managing director, India operations, of
Blackstone Market Facts, a 100 per cent venture of two Chicago-based companies, Blackstone
Group and Market Facts and a unit of the $6.6 billion Aegis group, one of the largest
global media planning and buying companies. Mr Shanker has been with ORG-Marg as vice
president. He has also worked with Jiyajee Mills, Marketing and Business Associates and
the Indian Market Research Bureau.
