Mumbai: Indian staffing and recruitment company EmmayHR, a Randstad Holding NV company, has launched 'Career Café', a new initiative that aims to exponentially increase market penetration of professional career counselling services, and shrink the gap between the employers and the employment seeker.

Founded in 1996, EmmayHR, is a permanent recruitment services company, with a pan India presence, and catering to various verticals. It delivers solutions for talent acquisition, management and development needs.

In a statement, the company said that Career café has been designed to make career counselling exciting and unconventional, and take careers to new heights over a cup of coffee.

Career Café is an attempt at creating an informal and comfortable setting for the prospective candidate to discuss their career aspirations. Career Café would be a 360 degree guidance given under one roof where the prospective candidate will get an opportunity to discuss career advancement options with the candidate management team and industry experts.

The initial geographical focus would be Mumbai suburbs.  The coffee will brew at the Malad and Lower Parel Career café's on three days of the week, Wednesday through Friday, between 4 and 7 pm, on Saturdays between 10 am and 1 pm.

Given the numerous career options in the market, Emmay HR feels that there is always a need for professional advice sought by the candidates. Candidates can walk-in to the closest Emmay HR Career Cafe, where their job requirement will be mapped to their profile, counselled and a personalised service provided.

Speaking about this initiative, Madhu Bhojwani, CEO, Emmay HR said, ''We are very excited to take this avant-garde route to reach the candidates, and also share the rich experience and expertise EmmayHR has gained over all these years in the recruitment industry.  Emmay HR' has always been one of the original recruitment companies to think beyond the norm of realm.

The initiative has already started yesterday, and would be on till March end.
