Som Distilleries & Breweries has tied up with US-based Mendoza Vino, Lexington, for sale of 100 containers of beer. The entire order is to be executed during the current year and is valued at $2 million. Mendonza Vino will use the beer for its American customers.

After the ord3er has been executed, Som Distilleries hopes to tie-up with Mendoza Vino for its Latin American clientele base as well. Som Distilleries also expects to export close to 500 containers of beer in this year alone.

Its manufacturing facilities are spread over 20 acres in Bhopal and where it has a modern brewing, storing and layering facility — among the largest, with an annual capacity of over 36,00,000 cases.

Som Distilleries also has a facility to manufacture canned beer and is among the few companies which have the production and marketing infrastructure for Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL).
