Google launches AdWords operations in Gurgaonnews

Mumbai: Internet search giant Google has launched its online sales and operations in Gurgaon. The new operations will track Google Hyderabad in managing adverting campaigns across the world and provide support on all aspects of Google advertising, a company release said.

Google, through its advertising programme AdWords, enables advertisers and businesses to show targeted advertisements to users as they search the web.

"Our goal is to find the best people worldwide to provide the best search experience for our users, partners and advertisers around the world. We're experiencing tremendous success with our online operations in Hyderabad and hope that by having another operation in Gurgaon, we can continue to attract the best talent from throughout the country," David Fischer, director, online sales and operations of IBM, said.

Google was looking for bright, creative minds with strong analytical and English writing skills to manage and guide campaigns on Google AdWords, Thomas Arnold, head of the new operations, said.

"We are experiencing tremendous success with our online operations in Hyderabad and with another operation in Gurgaon, we will continue to attract the best talent from throughout the country," Fischer added.

He said the goal of the company was to find the best people globally to provide the best search experience for users, partners and advertisers around the world.
