FileNet helps HDFC Standard Life slash operational costs news

Mumbai: HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company, has been able to improve its customer response capability after implementing FileNet enterprise content management (ECM) solution. This was stated at a press conference in Mumbai, by Hugh Sutherland, vice president — Asia Pacific, Filenet Corp.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, "HDFC Standard life has experienced remarkable growth. As the company expands, it is imperative that it implements a solution that will help it to maintain its focus and achieve its objectives. We believe that HDFC's choice for FileNet's new business solution is base on our industry's best practices and track record in delivering enterprise content management solutions,"

Moreover, the highly scalable solution will accommodate an increasing document load as HDFC's business expands, he added.

According to Sunil Rawlani, head, information systems and technology, HDFC Standard Life, "Our FileNet solution has helped us to improve collaboration among employees throughout the easy sharing and accessing of information pertinent to new business." He added that leveraging new technologies like FileNet would enable the bank to improve its service standards.

The US-based FileNet Corporation, claims a presence in over 90 countries and has supplied solutions to more than 4,000 organisations, including 80 of the Fortune 100 companies.
