World Phone ties up with US based Go2Call

Mumbai: World Phone Internet Services Private Limited (WPISPL) — India's leading category "A" Internet Services Provider, today announced its technological tie-up with US based Go2Call, a leading provider of high quality, international VoIP (voice over internet protocol) calling service to businesses and customers in over 200 countries around the world. As per the agreement between World Phone and Go2Call, all marketing, sales, distribution of the cards in India will be taken care of by World Phone and Go2Call will utilize its expertise to maintain backend operations to support the voice traffic over World Phone's VoIP networks.

Our tie-up with Go2Call will further enhance our technological edge and we are confident of revolutionising the international calling experience for our fellow Indians."

The World Phone-Go2call tie-up is expected to herald an era of extremely cheap long distance calls facility from India. World Phone is working on the blueprint of its plan for the roll-out of international calling-cards services in India and will introduce it in phases across the country. World Phone also plans to come up with specific VoIP based call centre solutions to meet the growing demand of the rapidly evolving BPO industry in the country, which will make their services even more affordable and attractive to the world.

World Phone, is the first company in India to get ITSP license from Department of Telecommunication, Government of India. Currently the company provides a host of IT solutions like broadband connectivity, corporate VoIP solution, internet calling cards to its clients like HCL, NIIT, Rediff.Com, Jet Airways, ICICI Bank, Ebix, Solutions Inc. etc. World Phone has a nationwide presence with corporate office in New Delhi and regional offices in Mumbai and Ahmedabad and associate offices in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai.
