Cethar Vessels and Thermax bag Surana Industries order

Chennai: Surana Industries Limited, which is building an integrated steel plant at Raichur, Karnataka at an investment of Rs473 crore has chosen the suppliers of boilers, electrostatic precipitators (ESP) and turbine for its 35 MW captive power plant.

The company has placed order of Rs36 crore with Trichy-based Cethar Vessels (P) Ltd, for boilers, a Rs14 crore order with China''s Qingdao Jieneng Power Station Engineering Co. Ltd, ordered a turbine from Hyderabad''s Associated Power Team Pvt Ltd., and a Rs8 crore order for electrostatic precipitator (ESP) from Pune-based Thermax Limited.
