Surana Industries selects R Singh Associates as engineering consultants

Chennai: The Chennai-based Surana Industries Limited, a steel manufacturing company has selected R.Singh & Associates as their engineering consultants for rolling mills for their new integrated steel plant in Raichur, Karnataka. The consultant assists the company in designs and manufacturing drawings of main and auxiliary equipment of rolling mills and other auxiliary equipment of steel plants.

Surana Industries is setting up an integrated steel plant at an outlay of Rs473 crore. The new steel plant will manufacture special steel mainly meant for automotive sector.

Commenting on this Dinesh Surana, managing director of SIL said, "India is poised to emerge as outsourcing hub for world automobile industry. Besides India will soon be largest producer of compact car. These trends present unprecedented demand for alloy steel products."
