Sobha-led JV to set up Gurgaon township worth Rs2000 crore

The Bangalore-based Sobha Developers said on Wednesday 3 October that it plans to develop a township project in the national capital region (NCR) with an investment of Rs2,000 crore ($500 million) in a tie-up with real estate firms QVC Realty and Chintels India.

The township, to be set up at Gurgaon, Haryana, as a part of a joint development agreement, would be spread over 192 acres (7.68 lakh sq metres), and will consist of single-family homes, apartments, commercial, retail and office space.

Located in sectors 106 to 109, more than 6.5 million sq ft of living and working spaces would be created, the company informed the Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE).

Sobha Developers has already launched a number of township projects in Kochi and Thrissur.
