Aegis plans 70 LPG outlets in Andhra Pradesh

Mumbai: Gujarat – based logistics solutions provider for oil, gas and chemicals, Aegis Logistics, has made public its intent to set up around 70 dispensing stations for Auto LPG Gas in Andhra Pradesh.

AEGIS imports, markets and distributes bulk propane and LPG to a variety of industrial customers in the western region, and is one of the largest private sector suppliers in India. According to the company's website, Aegis operates and manages a 20,000 MT fully refrigerated LPG terminal in association with Hindustan Aegis LPG Bottling Company Ltd. The terminal is connected to the Pir Pau Jetty, which is capable of handling vessels of up to 35,000 DWT, by 12" low temperature steel pipelines with a maximum unloading capacity of 400 MT/hour.

Reports indicate that Aegis has selected Keerthej Auto Gas Agency to market its services in the state. Reports also indicate that these 70 outlets in Andhra Pradesh are part of a larger plan to roll out around 500 outlets across India.
