Chennai: Educational institutions in Singapore are eyeing Indian students much as American universities are. Following several other institutes Singapore's PSB Academy, owned by PSB Corporation Pte Ltd, is wooing the 10th and 12th standard pass Indian students for its fast track 'bachelor' degree programmes.

The bachelor degree courses — electrical, mechanical, applied information technology, business management, marketing, finance and financial accounting — are available in Singapore and students have to study in that country. The courses are offered in association of PSB's partner, The University of Newcastle, Australia.

The PSB Academy grew from being a Singapore government department offering training to workers. More than 25,000 students from 18 countries study at PSB Academy.
