Mumbai: EmmayHR, one of India's leading human resource companies, today announced that it is entering the staffing business with an aim to strengthen its competitive position in the industry.

The business will be headed by associate director, Rohit Ramani, and the company plans to grow this business to 2,500 associates in the next one year. With offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune, EmmayHR will be concentrating on companies in the IT, IT-enabled services, FMCG, manufacturing, biotechnology, automobile, BPO, telecom and pharmaceutical sectors. EmmayHR plans to provide staffing solutions in the sales and marketing, finance, administration, technical and customer support divisions of their existing and potential clients.

Announcing the new business initiative, CEO of EmmayHR, Monisha Advani, said, "Our entry into the staffing business is a forward integration that will help us provide a holistic HR consulting approach to our clients. This will help create and sustain a support mechanism for our clients and help them focus on their core areas and increase productivity."

Rohit Ramani added, "Organisations today are devoting more and more of their productive time in managing and reducing fixed costs and complexities of administering non-core areas. Staffing helps an organisation eliminate human resource-related overhead costs, time, and complexities and allows them to focus on their core competencies as well as managing and motivating their team."

EmmayHR's existing talent pool, a data base strength of over one lakh and strategic alliances with Monster, Jobsahead and Naukri, enhances their capabilities to provide tailored solutions based on specific client requirements.

"Corporates from the traditional old economy as well the new IT-enabled services segment have now become conscious of the fact that headcount is directly related to their revenue. The need is now for 'people' experts who can deliver customised 'solutions' as and when required and we at EmmayHR have the expertise to provide them with these," Ramani said.
