Chennai: The city-based Exceed International Private Limited, a design and construction company, has launched operations after bagging a construction project to build a 120,000sq ft, 14 floor, software park. The contract is valued at $1 million.

According to David Easow, director, the construction will commence this December and will be completed in 12 months.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the US-based Exceed International. According to Easow, the parent company will invest $10 million to expand operations, which include establishing plant and acquisition of machinery among others.

Easow said Exceed would assign a relationship manager to each client to execute a project. The manager will act as the owner's representative to the project team through the government approval process as well as construction.

The construction site will be linked to the Internet via web camera enabling the project promoter to view the construction status live round the clock.
