Cargo throughput at Munich airport at record levels

Munich Airport has reported its best ever freight results revealing that air cargo has grown so fast that it has eclipsed last year''s total throughput in just nine months. The Bavarian airport handled 184,000 tonnes up to the end of September, which was 13 per cent up on last year''s annual total of 163,240 tonnes.
On September 21, for the first time in its history, Munich Airport recorded a single-day freight turnover of more than 1,000 tonnes.
