Mumbai: On
the occasion of the visit of Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji
and the accompanying business delegation, two business events
are being organised on 16 January in Mumbai.
FICCI and CII will jointly organise a special business meeting
between 11.30 am and 1:30 pm at Hotel Oberoi, Mumbai. The
meeting will include a special address by the Rongji.
Preceding the meeting, FICCI, in association with China
Council for Promotion of International Trade will organise
the India-China joint business council (JBC) meeting.
The
Chinese business delegation that will participate in the
JBC meet also forms part of the business delegation accompanying
Rongji and represents diverse business interests, including
information technology and telecommunication, shipping,
machinery, manufacturing, trading and services sector.
