Radio City is all set to launch an audio book collection titled City of Tales for children.

The collection entails stories based upon folk tales, fables and Indian mythology, transmitted through the audio stream.

The narration is in English and Hindi and each title will have five stories of 6-8 minute duration each. The collection is designed to be both informative as well as entertaining for the kids.

The venture is entirely supported by Radio City through its own studio and staff who act as narrators and voice-over artistes.

It has also tied up with children's book publisher BPI India to publish and distribute these audio books.

Each title comes as akit comprising an audio CD with activity books for children such as colouring, sketching and puzzle books and sketch pens.

The initiative is a direction to expand its business and it plans to aggressively campaign this concept across the country.
