Tyson Foods Inc has recalled more than two million pounds of its ready-to-eat breaded chicken products. The move follows the company receiving notification on 6 June from an ingredient supplier that the bread crumbs the company received and used in the recalled products potentially contained undeclared milk.

There had been no reports of reactions to the products. The items were shipped for use nationwide and were in bulk cases. As per Tyson's records, schools had purchased products through the company's commercial channels.

Consumers have been advised to throw away or return the products to the store of purchase.

The products included in the recall had been packaged on various dates from 17 August, 2016 through 14 January, 2017.

The products were shipped for institutional use nationwide. According to Tyson's records, schools have purchased products through the company's commercial channels.
