Bingo! new television ad for its international cream and onion flavour is a spoof on 'dubbing' of popular Hollywood films in hindi.

The ad opens in the middle of an action packed sequence - archaeologists are trying to flee from dozens of mummies in what appears to be an underground cave. The set details, cast, mummies are recreated so faithfully that it can easily pass off as a Hollywood blockbuster. In fact viewers will be misled into thinking they are viewing a promo for some new action-adventure flick till the Bingo! twist reveals itself.

As the chase reaches its climax one of the archaeologists stops fighting and brings the entire sequence to a halt by asking one question - 'hum sab hindi mein kyun baat kar rahein hain (why are we all talking in Hindi?'). As he says this it seems realization also dawns on the mummies as they look around and nod at each other. A voice over in sutradhar style replies - Because it is an ad for Bingo! International Cream and Onion flavor which is truly international in taste but made in India.

The attempt is to engage the viewers not just with the action packed chase but also entertain them with very humorous dialogues.  So when a pistol fails to fire the character concludes in dismay it must be made in China, another time the hero swinging into the frame Tarzan style shouts that the cave is not a cave but a riddle. When the hero arrives late to rescue the heroine she exclaims he is a 'late latif'.

The film was produced by Soda films and directed by Rajesh Krishnan.

The creative directors are  Amit Akali and Malvika Mehra, Vipul Thakkar and script writes are Sendil Kumar, Vipul Thakkar
