New Delhi: ICICI Infotech has announced that it will implement Premia its integrated information solution for insurance companies at Oriental Insurance Company Ltd (OIC).

The deployment of Premia will help OIC to integrate its various branches and operations. ICICI Infotech managing director and CEO V Srinivasan says the implementation of Premia will be done in two phases over a period of two years.

The first phase, which will be the pilot run customisation, will be done at select OIC divisional and regional offices, apart from the head office. This will be followed by 150 offices, which will be computerised and connected.

In the second phase, another 200 offices will be taken up for computerisation. The remaining OIC offices will be connected through Premia after the second phase.

Oriental Insurance (acting) chairman and managing director Ajit M Sharan says the implementation of Premia will be crucial to the success of the future plans of the insurance company.
