J N Godbole, executive director, IDBI Ltd., assumed the responsibilities of wholetime director. The appointment extends up to May 31, 2005 or until the appointment of a chairman of IDBI whichever is earlier. Godbole, during the currency of his appointment, would also discharge the functions of chairman.
